ERIC WILLIAM AVERY

ERIC WILLIAM AVERY:dancer Eric Avery is a Koori man, descendant of the Ngiiyampa, Yuin and Gambangirri peoples of NSW. Eric Avery started training in movement forms at Shopfront Theatre for the contemporary arts then started training in Classical Ballet at the Newtown High School for the Performing Arts. Eric graduated from NAISDA Dance College (National Aboriginal Islander Skills Development Association) in November 2010. Recent highlights for Eric have been dancing with the NIBROLL collective in Yokohama Japan and dancing in Deon Hastie's piece Caught in Melbourne.
